The first of these units, Alberta: A Sense of the Land focuses on the geography, geology and natural resources of Alberta. The second Eduguide unit, The Stories, Histories and Peoples of Alberta, studies the human geography of Alberta from the various first nations through the subsequent waves of immigration to the modern cultural mix of Alberta. The third Eduguide unit is Alberta: Local and Current Affairs. This unit meets curricular requirements with its focus on change in Alberta since 1905.
